Last night at the Town Hall meeting, Superintendent Dr. John Baker met with Clifford families to announce that Leslie Crane has been selected to be Clifford’s Principal, starting in Fall 2017!

We are thankful that Dr. Danni Tsai will continue her great work as Interim Principal for the rest of this school year!
After school, from 2:40-4:40, we will be celebrating with a carnival!!! Join us right after school and bring your family to join in on the fun. Carnival tickets will be earned through participation in the Lap-A-Thon as well as raising donations. Tickets will be available to purchase during the carnival.
This year we’re seeking flat donations rather than pledges for numbers of laps run. Donations are due Friday, March 24 (a week before the event) to determine number of carnival tickets earned, in advance of the carnival. Of course we will still accept donations after the 24th, although it won’t be guaranteed that you will have your tickets in hand prior to the start of the carnival. Students are encouraged to have a lap goal and foster friendly competition with friends and classmates.
Schedule:
Lap-a- Thon, 8:30-12:30 on upper track
Carnival, 2:40-4:40 on blacktop
How to Earn Carnival Tickets
– Participate in Lap-a- Thon, earn 10 tickets for carnival
– A family member volunteers on the day, earn 10 tickets for the carnival. Email melisselong@yahoo.com to learn about opportunities.
– $25 in donations, earn 10 tickets
– $50 in donations, earn 20 tickets
– $75 or more, earn unlimited bracelet
– Middle School Students who participate and bring in $25 will have priority on the rock wall for the first 30 minutes. A pass will distributed to those that have earned it.
Dr. Baker is coming to Clifford to inform our community about the principal search process and how the district is working to support Clifford during this transition. He will also address the need and support for further implementation of a Positive Behavior Intervention & Support system on campus, middle school differentiated learning for math and language arts, and more. He will also be answering questions so please bring them with you. We look forward to welcoming Dr. Baker to our school.

– 6:30pm in the MUB – Spanish Session
– 7:30pm in the MUB – English Session
