Clifford Campout


The Second Annual Clifford Campout is here! 

Join us the evening of Friday, October 3rd for a fun night camping on Clifford School's upper field. We'll have a pizza dinner on Friday night, a movie under the stars, and breakfast the next morning. We have a few fun extras planned for this year's campout - stay tuned for more details!

New this year: if you would like to join us for the dinner + movie but aren't into camping, we're offering a non-camping ticket option! See the ticket page for more information.

Event overview:

Friday, October 3rd:
5pm - Arrive and pitch your tent
6pm - Pizza dinner
7:30pm - Movie under the stars
10pm - Quiet hour starts. Non-camping attendees will be asked to leave by this time.

Saturday, October 4th:
6am - Coffee
7am - Breakfast
9am- Pack up your tent and depart

Location: Upper field at Clifford School. Parking is available in the neighborhood or school parking lot. Please enter the campus through the gate closest to the large school parking lot, between the parking lot and the middle school. (The gate which leads to the field, not the blacktop.)

What's included:

  • Dinner, drinks, and dessert Friday night

  • Fun with your Clifford community!

  • Movie under the stars with snacks

  • Coffee and breakfast Saturday morning

What to bring:

  • 1 tent per family with a ground cover

  • 1 sleeping bag (per person)

  • 1 sleeping pad or inflatable mattress (per person)

  • 1 pillow (optional, per person)

  • 1 flashlight (per person)

  • 1 refillable water bottle (per person)

  • 1 plastic cup, labeled with your name (per person)

  • PJs

  • Warm sweatshirt or jacket

  • Your toothbrush! (and other toiletries)

  • Change of clothes (optional)

  • Extra battery/charging pack (optional - but no power is available)

  • Camping chairs and/or a picnic blanket

  • Lawn games, sports equipment, board games (optional)

  • Additional snacks, if desired

What not to bring:

  • No alcohol

  • No drugs

  • No smoking

  • No open flames or fire pits

  • No fireworks

Other details:

  • If your family would like to join us (camping or non-camping) and you need need help covering the cost, visit the Family Center or email stephanie.ann.claussen@gmail.com for a registration code for free tickets.

  • This is a big event and requires a lot of volunteers to make happen! Please keep an eye out for our volunteer signup sheet - we hope one adult from each family will take one volunteer slot during the event.

  • For safety and security, we will be checking the names of all attendees at check in. No guests can attend the event if their names are not on the list of registered participants.

  • Quiet hours will be from 10pm to 6am. During this time, we ask that all attendees keep noise to a minimum to allow other families to sleep.

  • An adult parent or guardian must be at the entire event with each child. (An adult can supervise more than one child in a family.) The adult parent/guardian is responsible for any children that are registered with them for the event. We ask that all children have an adult in their tent.

  • Siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. are invited too!
