Dear Clifford community,
Thank you all for making the Lego night so great! I am very grateful to the PTO, and especially Katherine Schembri and Trina Licht who were so supportive of the initial idea. Trina, Lisa Silberman, and Dr. Tsai provided unconditional assistance and support with the planning and logistics. I also wanted to thank Clifford staff for helping with the many aspects of the logistics, Clifford volunteers who made the Lego night run so smoothly while keeping it on a very tiny budget. Last but not least, I want to thank the parents and more especially the students who came in big numbers and made this event so lively and fun!
It was absolutely priceless to see the children so absorbed and passionate whether it was building a racing car, their dream house, or finishing the spear of a building that shoots out of a Lego wall. Among the winners, though, there was one missing contestant that we haven’t been able to retrace, and I would like to ask your assistance to help me find the First Prize Winner of the Lego derby, Krista (or Krysta), who raced her car to a record-breaking 33 feet. I only have her first name, and she doesn’t seem to be registered at Clifford. Is she a sibling? A cousin? I would appreciate your assistance in elucidating this mystery. Her prize is waiting for her.
